Final 3D Sculpture

This is my final 3D form! YAY! I think it responds well to the brief as it involves repetition and it reflects my research. Using the 12 separate pieces attached using double sided tape, I sewed thread around the bottom pieces to connect them as it was very unstable, the tape kept un-sticking and falling out of shape etc. Also attached some thread to some of the points at the top to create a hanging, kind of like a chandelier. I am pleased overall with the outcome, it acquires certain attributes of leaf-like natural forms through the shapes and it's movement. It possesses a curved, free flowing spirit confined in a cylinder form.
